Serowe Administrative Authority (SAA) recently held a poverty eradication expo under the theme “ transforming lives through poverty eradication” . When welcoming the participants & the community, the Deputy District Commissioner Mr Charles Tumelo Modise said “we are here to witness how we excel in the poverty eradication programme which is helping Batswana to get out poverty”. He said that is in line with the country’s vision to eradicate poverty as one of the 2036 pillar which say ‘prosperity for all’ , which means that every Motswana should be prosperous in life. The event was held over the weekend at Dimajwe village. Objectives by Ms Keneilwe Ontebetse the Top achiever for BGCSE 2016 at Dimajwe, while Mr Kgotso Morei the Branch Manager for Serowe/Palapye First National Bank braced the event as the Guest Speaker and Ms Gorata Gabaikanngwe gave the Overview of Child Protection Isues.

The competition was held at Lady Khama Hall on Friday 31st August 2018. A young Ms Letlhogonolo Motsomelo from Malatswae walked away with the crown while Ms Kemelo Thuwe from Majwanaadipitse emerged the 1st Princess and Ms Onkagetse Molathiwa from Malatswae scooped 2nd Princess.
